Patience is like pure magic… Those who wait patiently … especially those who pray, wind up receiving what they need when they need it. Impatience brings misery, heartache, even anger, and eventually nothing.
Imagine if the little boy on the patience T-shirt got mad and broke his fishing pole … now he will never get one of the many delicious nutritious fish in the pond… they were napping, and not yet interested in eating any bugs, let alone a fake fly … Patience gets results.
Patience Bear discovered the importance of patience in life as a cub, when all Patience wanted was for his tomatoes, bamboo shoots, and leaves to grow. Tasty, ripe tomatoes and bamboo shoots come to those who wait for them to grow. Eating ones that aren’t quite ripe just isn’t the same. Cub learned early on that being patient pays off.
But trying to become a more patient bear is hard work. In fact, it can be very frustrating to cultivate patience.
